Why are we riding?
War in Syria is in its seventh year. Life is on hold for young refugees; they live in refugee camps, don’t go to school, and fight invisible battles with isolation, anxiety and desperation.
We are riding so we can help in three ways:
- Young refugees will attend classes several times a week, giving them structure, purpose and routine
- They’ll learn a vital life skill which will equip refugees for the future they deserve
- Every student will receive a Scripture booklet so they can practice reading, and discover Jesus’ love
We are aiming to raise enough funds to teach 6,000 young refugees to read by 2021! Will you support us?
