I'm raising funds for the Bible Society and I'd love your support.
I'm fundraising for the Bible Society by challenging myself to ride 120 kms off road over 3 days across Tasmania. The funds I raise will support Bible Society's tax-deductible project in Egypt to provide reading and writing skills to children and adults who really need it.
The quality of education in Egypt is low on the world scale. This need is greater than ever, as children have missed out on school and church activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Children and Adult Post Literacy project aims to build on newly learnt literary skills in students of all ages and prevent a relapse into illiteracy. Additionally, the project facilitates personal and spiritual development as individuals accept responsibility and take initiative for their ongoing learning.
