Bible Prep and promises for the Children of God

Bible verse for the week...

Hebrews 10:35

Do not cast away your confidence,

which has great reward,

For you have need of endurance,

So that after you have done the will of God,

You may receive the promise:

For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.

Now the just shall live by faith: but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him

Biblumen Training

On the 22/9/2018 to 25/9/2018 we will be walking the Bibbulmun Track to raise money to support Chaplains in Australian Schools. We are excited that the money raised from the Bible Society will go to providing free Scriptures for Chaplains working in Australian Hospitals, Schools, Prisons and Emergency Services and Defence Force.

We recognize that "God is our Refuge and Strength, an ever Present help in trouble" Psalm 46:1

We are from Esperance so with the advice and recommendations from our Hiking Leader we are taking the opportunity to carry a pack of 10-12kg for a 50 minute walk 10 minute rest followed by another 50 minute walk...between farm work commitments and family and church commitments.

We confess that we are a little behind in the training schedule with packs currently weighing 9kg and walks of an hour once to twice a week. Rohan is breaking in his 'Hiking Boots' while attending a few farm field days.

I'm raising funds for the Bible Society and I'd love your support.

I'm fundraising for the Bible Society by challenging myself to walk 65km over four days on the Bibbulmun Track Hike in WA. The funds I raise will support the work of Bible Society chaplains serving in hospitals, emergency services, prisons and the armed services.

The Bibbulmun Track is a long distance walking track stretching 1,002 kilometres from Kalamunda to Albany through some of the most beautiful areas of south-west Western Australia.

Bible Society’s Bibbulmun Track Hike is celebrating 21 years of walking for a great cause. Hikers keen to do their part have covered different sections of the track over the years, raising $116,000 for Bible work while enjoying the great outdoors.
