Melbourne Bike for Bibles 2020

Event sadly cancelled

Due to the corona virus pandemic the event has been cancelled.

Many thanks to my sponsiors and supporters.

Some of us took the davantage of perhaps the last ride for a while and left from the start line, through Altona Meadows, Pt Cook and on to Werribee South and return. 60 kms

1st hard practice for Bibles for Bibles 2020

Altona Meadows to Black Rock and back.

Though I cheated at the end - took the train from Westona- Laverton (2.5kms).

Explains my top speed of 89km/hr!

I'm raising funds for the Bible Society and I'd love your support.

I'm fundraising for the Bible Society by challenging myself to ride 240 kms over 2 days Around the Bay. The funds I raise will support the work of Bible Society in China.

For the last three decades, Bible Society has been raising funds to provide Bibles to the exponentially growing church in China. Since the establishment of Amity Printing Company in 1987, there have been millions of Bibles printed for internal distribution in China. These Bibles have been distributed through churches, an avenue that remains open to this day.

Your non-tax deductible donation will supply Bible paper to the Amity Printing Company and significantly reduce the cost of printing. These subsidised Bibles are then sold or given away to those for whom the cost of a Bible would otherwise be a considerable financial burden.

Your donation today will help us to make the most of this present opportunity and print more Bibles for the millions of Chinese people who need the Word for their faith and nurture.

Thank you to my Sponsors
