How will we climb our mountain?
We don’t want anyone to be limited by their level of fitness, and so have provided some recommendations for different skill levels and modes.
Upon registering you can choose between the full 58km, 42km, 10km or Other. Various modes of sport include:
- Cycle (Gravel Bikes/Mountain Bikes required for 30km of unsealed road)
- Cycle/Run
- Run
- Hike
- Other
By letting us know what mode and distance is right for you, we can provide the best support for you on the day!

Why are we climbing our mountain?
Tax deductible donations will fund projects such as International Bible-based Literacy programs, Australian Indigenous projects, distribution of Bibles for Public School Scripture and the Australian Defence Force, as well as the AUSLAN (Sign language) Bible project. We also recognise our Mission partners that work together with Bible Society Australia to help us facilitate this work.
We hope to raise $20,000 this year.
There is a Facebook Event to follow discussions with other participants, and ask questions about preparation and training.
Will you help us Open The Bible around the world ?
